Mozart
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was an extraordinarily influential Austrian composer of the Classical era. Born in Salzburg, he displayed prodigious musical talents at a remarkably early age, playing the keyboard and violin and composing his first pieces by age five. Guided by his father Leopold, young Mozart toured Europe as a child prodigy, performing for royalty. As an adult, he relocated to Vienna as a freelance performer and composer. Despite facing financial instability and volatile public favor, his creative output was staggering. Mozart composed over 600 works, profoundly shaping symphonic, operatic, chamber, piano, and choral music. His timeless masterpieces include the operas The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, and The Magic Flute, alongside his monumental Symphony No. 41 ("Jupiter"). Mozart fell gravely ill and died at age 35, leaving his famous Requiem unfinished. He remains an enduring archetype of musical genius.
